K.C. Gates, PhD, DVM
K.C. Gates grew up in the Flathead Valley, and is happy to be back home after many years away. She received her undergraduate degree at Darmouth College and completed veterinary school at Colorado State University, in addition to a PhD in reproductive physiology. She has special interests in dentistry, nutrition, geriatric pets, behavior, and surgery, and is a Certified Pet Nutrition Coach.
In her free time she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, which includes her husband, Brandon, three kids, three dogs, two horses, one cat who rules them all, and occasional foster pets.
Brandon Gates, DVM, CVMA, CIVCA
Brandon Gates was born at Fort Sill Army Base in Oklahoma and raised in Texas. He received his degree in Animal Science and completed veterinary school at Colorado State University. He also completed an internship in livestock medicine and surgery and continued into a residency in comparative theriogenology (animal reproduction) at Oklahoma State University. His special interests include reproduction (neonatology and obstetrics), preventive medicine, infectious disease, toxicology, hospice/palliative care, and integrative medical therapies. He is certified in animal chiropractic through the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association and veterinary medical acupuncture through CuraCore Veterinary Academy.
In his spare time, he enjoys rafting, hiking, camping, biking, playing sports, working with his Deutsch Kurzhaar, and enjoying all the Flathead has to offer with his family.
Jim Quartuccio, VMD
Dr. Jim grew up on his family farm in Pennsylvania and still enjoys rural life. He received his undergraduate degree in Dairy Science from Delaware Valley University, a Masters in Animal Science from the University of Delaware, and his Veterinary Degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He is interested in preventative animal health care, veterinary dentistry, and human animal relationships.When not practicing veterinary medicine, he enjoys hiking with his wife and dog named “Truman”, biking, and skiing. He holds a private pilot’s license and plans to explore the Rockies from the air as well as the ground.
